Socrates is not a Jail-breaker
If you were to be put in prison and told "Oh, so we are going to make drink a potion so you slowly suffocate and die sound good?" Of course he said no... oh wait he said ok sure. Just kidding Socrates was sentenced to death by drinking a potion called Hemlock which slowly shuts down your central nerve system and kills you eventually. He took the sentence but days while in jail his friends tried to break him out (The jail guards were in on it) but he refused to leave and he drank the potion right in front of them. He slowly died and it was a slow and painful death not only for him but his friends to to watch him just die. My question is how did Socrates have the strength to not leave and practically kill himself? That is my question. Well, thats the end of todays blog see you all next time.
