Halloween

Today in Human Geo we talked about population pyramids and the different shapes of bar graphs that you could find all over the world.  Cup shaped which is a low birth rate but a long life expectancy or a lot of people from the working class.  A X-mas tree is a very high birth rate and lower life expectancy with a medium amount of working class people.  And last but not least the Box not the highest birth rate but not the lowest and not the highest life expectancy but not the lowest either.  This is how we determine what a developing and a developed country is.  But that isn't all we talked about today we also talked about how those graphs are impacted by the real world.  All the shapes can vary and sometimes there are not any definite shapes to categorize them to.  That is going to be the end of todays blog. Today is the day before Halloween and wit is starting to feel spooky.  Not because of Halloween because of the quarter grades coming in I don’t feel as I did the best I could on this quarter I feel like I did ok but I wasn’t the best I could be.  It scares me because my dream is to go to the University of Maryland and with too many C’s I have 0 chance of getting in I only have 2 one in math and the other in your human geo class I am trying to bring it up but I believe it’s too late.  My grades aren’t horrible but they aren’t the best but I know that the second quarter is going to be the one so when it comes so is the best Demetri.  Happy Halloween I hope you get a lot of candy and tricks ha ha. Sorry Mr. Schick

Mr. Schick on behalf of me and I believe most of my class I’d like to apologize for the horrible results on our test.  Especially me I made many boneheaded mistakes including mixing up longitude and latitude.  And just not remembering the easy questions that were given I know that a 73% is not the best of me.  But at the moment I feel as if our class did bad because of me and the reason that I think that is because of me constantly wanting to teach it is your job to teach us and not our job to try to have fun and teach each other and completely take you out of the class.  As a result of my horrible behavior i got a horrible grade on the test.  Yet again I feel disappointed and disgusted of myself for trying to be more than who I am that is how I feel now noticing how horrible we did on our test.  I know it’s getting repetitive but I really do apologize.  Thanks for the opportunity but we didn’t execute on our part thank you for being such a great teacher.  Have a good one

Host of the review game

Well I'm back finally, boy I felt horrible yesterday I was so sick I couldn't get out of bed.  But anyways today I hosted a review game for the class I think personally I was a good host and I think we had a good review day.  according to Mr. Schick I did pretty well.  It was a lot of fun my favorite part was when Zach couldn't understand what his team was saying to him.  I like running the class and I think I get more benefit of learning from it too.  I get so much more understanding of things by asking people who they think it means compared to what I'm trying to think.  I combine the thoughts and make a definition I can really understand.  By doing this I can really comprehend the unit and lesson for example I was a little mixed up on relevant and exact location until we had our discussion with the class that day and I could tell you the distinct difference between the two.  I love being able to teach and I love that you like to give us the opportunity to do it.  Thank you Mr. Schick I really appreciate that you give your students a chance to do things other than sit there and write notes.  Well this was a good blog post I believe.  Gotta go so I'll see you next time.  Have a good one.

Review of Maps

Today was just a normal day of class we sat and listened to Mr. Schick’s lesson or review for our upcoming test.  I feel like I will do well on this test I’m well prepared and I feel like I know a lot about maps.  I almost got to teaching today but Saved By the Bell if you know what I mean.  Hehe like the show Saved By the Bell no laughs... ok moving on.  I also had a great day of baseball after school today I won in fungi golf and our team won the inner squad scrimmage (Bragging Rights).  It was an eventful day today and TGIF tomorrow because I cannot handle getting up so early ugh it drives me insane.  How the day flew by.  Wait... Am I reading it right? Wow! It’s 10:15? Already! I need to go to bed see ya have a good one.  And remember the Peters world map is the best map ever.
